ACB officials recover Rs 2 crore from ITDA official

Continuing its drive against corrupt officials, the Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths on Wednesday conducted simultaneous raids on the residences of Sudarshanam at Buttayagudem, Achanta, West Godavari and Gannavaram in Krishna district on Wednesday. 

Sudarshanam who is working as Probationary Officer in Integrated Tribal Development Agency, at Buttayagudem, Achanta is  siad  to have amassed wealth  disproportionate to his known sources of income.

In their raids, the Acb officials recovered properties to the tune of Rs 2 crore.  According to Acb sleuths, Sudarshanam owns two plots in Singapore.

Acb Deputy Superintendent of Police Sudarshan said the officials have recovered Rs one lakh in cash from him. The officials also recovered Australian dollars in his house. The value of properties is yet to be ascertained. Searches are going on.

The officials registered a case of corruption against the officer.
