Aadarsha Kutumbam(2026) Movie: What's Behind
Victory Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas' Aadarsha Kutumbam is releasing on 30 October 2026. Expectations are high as Venkatesh and Trivikram are coming together for the first time after Trivikram earlier penned super hit dialogues for Venkatesh's evergreen classics Malliswari and Nuvvu Naku Nachav. Trivikram is also experimenting with dark comedy for the first time.

The film's OTT rights have reportedly been bagged for a fancy sum, with streaming planned after its theatrical run. Let us see whether Trivikram's dark humour and Venkatesh's comedy timing work for movie lovers.

Aadarsha Kutumbam(2026) Movie: Story Review
Aadarsha Kutumbam revolves around a middle-class family and the happenings in their debt-ridden lives and how they deal with an unexpected situation.

Chitti Babu (Venkatesh) leads a middle-class life filled with debts, largely because of his wife Swarna (Srinidhi Shetty). His life changes completely after one incident. Where this incident leads him and his family, and how the other characters become part of the story form the rest of the developments.

Inspector Damodar Naidu (Nara Rohith), DSP Bruhaspati (Rao Ramesh), Malathi (Nivetha Pethuraj), Chandan (Udaybir Sandhu), Judge Pradeep Sarkar (Nassar), Sarwa (Raj Prajwal) and Sampoorna (Yuvina Parthavi) play important roles in the proceedings.

Aadarsha Kutumbam(2026) Movie: Artists Review
Venkatesh slips into the role effortlessly. He entertains with his trademark mannerisms, dialogue delivery and expressions. He also emotes well in the serious portions and carries several scenes with his screen presence. His performance remains one of the film's biggest strengths.

Srinidhi Shetty looks good on screen and impresses with her innocent performance. Her chemistry with Venkatesh looks fresh and works well.

Nivetha Pethuraj attracts with her looks but gets a relatively limited role. Nara Rohith plays an important character and delivers a decent performance.

Satya is good on screen and manages to evoke a few laughs, although he could have been utilised better. Dimple Hayathi sizzles in a special song. Yuvina and Raj Prajwal are good as the children. Rao Ramesh impresses with his distinctive dialogue delivery.

Nassar has a small role, while Brahmaji, Raghu Babu and Sachin Khedekar do justice to their respective parts. Udaybir Sandhu is fine as the villain.

Aadarsha Kutumbam(2026) Movie: Technicians Review
Trivikram starts the narration in an interesting manner and introduces Venkatesh with an entertaining sequence. The first half then moves forward with a mix of comedy and family situations. Though the proceedings are somewhat predictable, Trivikram's dialogues and Venkatesh's performance keep the momentum going.

The interval sequence comes with a surprise and creates some interest for the second half. However, the sequence also reminds us of the Tamil film Blast.

The second half is where the film loses some of its freshness. The proceedings become predictable and repetitive, with the story largely focusing on how the family tries to save themselves from the criminals. Still, there are a few entertaining moments and twists that keep the film watchable before it reaches a predictable conclusion.

Trivikram's story does not offer anything particularly new apart from a couple of twists. The screenplay is straightforward and lacks the novelty expected from him. However, his trademark dialogue writing and the performances help the film in several places.

Thaman's songs do not make much of an impact and are not presented particularly well on screen. His background score, however, is effective and suits the proceedings.

Ravi K Chandran's cinematography gives the film a colourful and appealing look. Naveen Nooli's editing is good, though the second half could have benefited from tighter cuts. The dialogues work in parts and the production values are good.

Aadarsha Kutumbam Movie: Advantages

  • Venkatesh
  • Entertaining first half
  • Comedy and family moments
  • Few interesting twists
  • BGM

Aadarsha Kutumbam Movie: Disadvantages

  • Predictable second half
  • Familiar situations
  • Lack of novelty in the screenplay

Aadarsha Kutumbam(2026) Movie: Rating Analysis
Altogether, Aadarsha Kutumbam turns out to be a fairly engaging family entertainer with a mix of comedy, thrills and unexpected turns. Venkatesh is at his entertaining best and carries the film with his trademark expressions, mannerisms and dialogue delivery. Trivikram manages to create several enjoyable moments, particularly in the first half, with his witty dialogues and interesting setup.

The second half loses some of the freshness seen earlier and becomes predictable in places. A few situations also remind us of familiar films, which takes away some of the impact. Still, the film has enough entertaining moments, a few good twists and a strong lead performance to make it a decent theatrical watch.

Considering the overall entertainment, Venkatesh's performance, humour, thrills and technical aspects, Cinejosh goes with a 2.75 rating for Aadarsha Kutumbam.
