Jyothi Poorvaj's film KilleR directed by Poorvaaj is releasing on 30 October 2026. The film is testing its luck releasing along with Venkatesh's Aadarsha Kutumbam and Vishwak Sen's Cult. The film's OTT rights are yet to be inked. Let us see what the film offered to movie lovers.

KilleR(2026) Movie: Story Review

KilleR story revolves around the happenings in the life of a writer and its connection with the security issues of the country. Investigating Officer (Sukku Poorvaj) stars investigating a case which involves a beautiful, mysterious and dangerous girl.

His investigation leads to startling revelations and where does it leads to and how it is connected to an aspiring writer Raksha Rai (Jyothi Poorvaj), her brother Karthik (Chandrakanth Kollu), scientist (Jyothi Poorvaj), Gayatri (Archana Ananth ) and who are spy, terrorist, actress and vampire (Julia, Sia, Rania, Rakthia) (all played by Jyothi Poorvaj) form the interesting part.

Jyothi Poorvaj tried to show variations in different roles she played. She indulged in glamor treat to attract youth. She is ok with her expressions. Most of the role her role demanded singular expression and it is ok. She delivered dialogues accordingly. She also enacted few stunts to thrill.

Chandrakanth Kollu who made his debut in the role of brother is good. He showed emotions and delivered dialogues and came up with a decent performance. Poorvaj played the role of the scientist and investigating officer. He overacted in the role of the investigating officer testing the patience of all. He is fine in the role of the scientist.

Manish Gilada, Archana Ananth,Vishal Raj, Chakradhar and others performed according to their roles.

KilleR(2026) Movie: Technicians Review

KilleR story is penned by Poorvaj. He tried to thrill viewers with spy thriller with sci fi elements. He started the narration in an interesting way but quickly loses plot even before the interest is built. He tried to come up with numerous questions and with different screenplay and taking, use of various technological jargons, he decided to provided the answers.

While he generated interest with some of the scenes, the investigation scenes irritates viewers with the overaction of the cast and the repetitive scenes. The end of the first half sets the stage for the second half. Couple of twists in the second half turnout to be ok but many scenes in the second half turned repetitive and routine. There are many illogical scenes and also the climax scenes looks out of snyc.

Ashirvad & Suman Jeeva's background score followed the same template. While in the beginning it is good and makes an impact, later it turned out to be typical and routine. Jagadeesh Bommisetti's cinematography is of good standards. He showed the scenes in a decent and appealing way. The VFX and CGI are decent. Editing of Poorvaj could have been far better especially in the second half. Dialogues are ok and production values are good.

Altogether, KilleR turns out to be an atrocious flick. Director Poorvaaj came up with a story that looked silly to the core. The cast and crew just passed through the motions. The non-linear screenplay ended up testing the patience of all the movie lovers and also confuses everyone. No amount of changes in the story, screenplay, or soul would have changed the final output. Considering all these aspects, Cinejosh goes with a 1.25 rating for Killer.
