The Ministry of Home Affairs released revised guidelines for Lockdown 2 to be imposed between April 15 and May 3. While some strict decisions are taken in order to ensure social distance, many relaxations are also given to agricultural, industrial, building and construction sectors. Following is the list of some revised guidelines.
* State governments will monitor hotspots. No activities shall be allowed until May 3.
* Shopping malls, theatres, temples, mosques, churches etc. will remain be closed.
* Godowns and cold storages will be allowed from APril 20.
* Electricians, IT repairs, motor mechanics and carpenters can do their activities from April 20.
* IT firms can be operational with 50% employees.
* No restrictions on print, electronic, DTH and Cable services.
* No flight, bus and train transport till May 3
* Face masks are mandatory.
* Fines will be levied for indulging in public splitting.
* Sport complexes and swimming pools will be shut till May 3.
* A maximum of 20 people will be allowed to attend funeral rites and other rituals.
* Schools and colleges will remain shut until May 3.
* All agricultural activities can be done.
* 50% manpower is allowed to coffee and tea industries.
* Online teaching and coaching are allowed.
* Online shopping and e-commerce are allowed.
* Local workers are allowed for building and construction activities.
* Industrial activities can be resumed in rural areas
* Permission is denied to cross frontiers.
* Interstate goods and cargoes are allowed.
