Sreeleela Joins Rajinikanth Dharman

Actress Sreeleela has joined the cast of Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Dharman, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. The makers officially welcomed her through a special announcement video shared by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International. This marks the first time Sreeleela and Rajinikanth will be sharing screen space.
Sreeleela has been adding several interesting Tamil projects to her lineup after making her Tamil debut with Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan. She is also associated with Dhanush and Mammootty’s Om and Ajith Kumar’s Daredevil. Her entry into Dharman brings another popular young actress into the film, which already has a strong ensemble cast.
Rajinikanth will reportedly play a doctor with a grey shaded character in this action entertainer. Simran, Nayanthara, Raashii Khanna and Yogi Babu are also part of the film. Some previously released posters showed the Superstar with blood on his hands, while the makers described his character as a Ketta Paiyan, recalling his popular role in his popular film, Mullum Malarum.
Produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International and R Mahendran’s Turmeric Media, Dharman marks the first collaboration between Rajinikanth and director Ashwath Marimuthu. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, while Niketh Bommi handles cinematography, Pradeep E Ragav takes care of editing and action choreography is by Anbariv. The film has reportedly completed multiple shooting schedules and is targeting an April 2027 release, though the official date is yet to be announced.
