Story with good content always attracts movie lovers irrespective of the language. That is the reason why filmmakers try to remake a good film in other languages and treat their viewers in their own language. Of late many Tollywood stars are busy shooting for remakes and Telugu movie lovers await remakes sensation this summer.
Though filmmakers feel remakes are a safe bet, it also involves lot of risks. Recently the result of Jaanu, a remake of Tamil hit 96 proved this point.
Pawan Kalyan is getting ready to show his power on his comeback with PINK remake titled Vakeel Saab. The film is slated for a grand summer release. Venkatesh is always at the forefront of doing remakes and of his 73 films till now, 28 turned out to be remakes. His upcoming film Narappa is the remake of Tamil hit Asuran. Narappa is also slated for the summer release.
Generally, top stars find difficulty in finding stories suitable for them and so they prefer remakes. But even young heroes who do not face any such problems are showing interest in remakes. Ram is starring in Thadam remake titled RED. The film directed by Kishore Tirumala is releasing on April 9. Ram is doing dual roles in the film.
Nithin who scored a hit with Bheeshma is also starring in the remake of Bollywood hit Andhadhun. Satya Dev is starring in Umamaheswara Ugrarupasya which is the remake of Malayalam hit Maheshinte Prateekaram. Venkatesh Maha of C/O Kancharapalem is directing the remake. The film is slated for April 17 release.
