Maharshi Marathon Runtime Shocking

Prince Mahesh Babu's upcoming crazy commercial potboiler Maharshi got its regular shoot delayed for a valid reason. According to reports, the movie's first edit was done recently. And it was a huge shocker to the film's team. The total runtime of the first edit was 4 hours!

However, after a careful scissoring, the editing department has successfully brought the runtime down to 3 hours and 20 minutes. And now, it's going to be a mammoth task for them, to edit 20 more minutes so as to ensure the total runtime locked to 3 hours. Probably, a fight sequence and a song will be chopped off in the final cut. 

Maharshi is being helmed by Vamsi Paidipally. Aswini Dutt, Dil Raju and PVP are jointly producing the movie. Pooja Hegde is romancing Mahesh Babu. Devi Sri Prasad is providing tunes. The film's release date has been locked to May 9.
