Initial Reactions From Ramayana World Premier

Ramayana Part 1 has reportedly received its first audience reactions after a special premiere in Los Angeles. The English version was screened in 3D with a runtime around 30 minutes shorter than the Hindi version. Early viewers praised the film’s grand visuals, production scale and fantasy world, though some felt the storytelling needed more emotional depth.
Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal of Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi’s performance as Sita have received positive feedback from some viewers. However, Yash as Ravana appears to be a major highlight, with his introduction and powerful screen presence attracting attention. The visual effects and large action sequences also earned praise, although some computer generated creatures reportedly looked less realistic.
Despite its impressive visuals, some early reactions have raised concerns about the screenplay, pacing and background score. Certain portions of the second half reportedly feel stretched, while some viewers felt the film focuses more on spectacle than emotion. The mix of Indian and Western musical styles has also received mixed feedback from premiere audiences.
The film’s reported cliffhanger has become a major talking point, leaving viewers curious about the next instalment. With Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash leading the cast, Ramayana Part 1 aims to bring the Indian epic to the big screen on a grand scale. However, these early reactions are not a final verdict, and wider audience reviews will offer a clearer picture. The film is slated to hit the screens worldwide in multiple languages in all premium formats on November 5.
