Fauzi controversy grows bigger as Netaji family writes to PM Modi

Prabhas' Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, is generating immense interest among movie lovers. The makers released the glimpse on Prabhas' birthday and this is now turning out to be a huge controversy.
The way Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was seen elevating Prabhas' character in front of Adolf Hitler did not go down well with the people of the country. Following this, Subhash Chandra Bose's grandnephew Chandra Kumar Bose demanded an apology from the Fauzi makers. He said, “Distorting facts and resorting to fiction while dealing with national icons is, I think, a crime.”
He continued, “Netaji recognised that Germany’s Hitler and Japan’s Hideki Tojo could provide assistance to India’s freedom movement at that juncture.” He added, “He vehemently opposed fascism and believed in democracy and people’s democratic rights.” He demanded. “The director should apologise to the people of India and all those who value the country’s freedom struggle,”
Now, with the makers maintaining a stoic silence, he decided to escalate the matter. He has written about the controvesy to I&B Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw demanding strict action against the makers. He also tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet.
Netaji's grandnephew wrote, "We take strong offence to this trivialisation of Netaji. We also fail to understand as to how could the Censor Board clear such an objectionable content. You are requested to kindly look into this very serious concern and get it investigated. It shall be the right service to the nation if you make sure that this teaser is pulled down and the responsible ones at the Censor Board are punished in an exemplary manner."
"The teaser of Fauzi ought to be pulled down, corrected and released again. Should our concern regarding Netaji be resolved (for the teaser as well as for the Movie), my best wishes go out to #Prabhas and the entire team @FauziTheMovie.
