Mohan Lal At The Age Of 62 Rocks The Stage, Video Goes Viral

A video of Malayalam cinema superstar Mohanlal grooved to the song ‘Zinda Banda’ from Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan at the 2024 Vanitha Film Awards went viral. In a video shared by many fan pages on X, Mohanlal can be seen in a brown jacket and red pants dancing to the tunes in a rhythm. Many are wondering how can he be such energetic and lively at the age of 62 giving live performance.

Shah Rukh Khan took to X to comment on the video. “Thank u @Mohanlal sir for making this song the most special for me now,” the actor said. “Wish I had done it half as good as you,” added SRK before inviting Mohanlal to his house for dinner. “Love u sir and waiting for dinner at home as and when. You are the OG Zinda Banda!!!”

In reply, Mohanlal said, "Dear @iamsrk, nobody can do it like you! You are and always will be the OG Zinda Banda in your classic, inimitable style. Thanks for your kind words. Also, just dinner? Why not groove to some Zinda Banda over breakfast, too?"

Jawan released on September 7 last year. The film was the highest grosser of 2023 with a worldwide collection of about Rs 1,150 crore. Apart from Shah Rukh, the film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Ridhi Dogra in pivotal roles.
