Ravi Teja is making his pan India debut with Tiger Nageswara Rao. The film which is touted to be made based on true rumours about notorious thief, Tiger Nageswara Rao. Ravi Teja has taken the project Prestigiously and is doing promotions actively in all languages. The trailer and songs too generate positive buzz around the film.
But, the ground reality is different. Apart from Telugu States, Tiger Nageswara Rao of finding hard to get theatres in other states. Especially in Tamil Nadu it is only getting a meagre 30 theatres, those are also not the main centres. Entire Tamil Nadu is locked for Vijay's Leo which is releasing a day earlier.
The same is happening in Karnataka and Kerala too, as Vijay is enjoying huge fan following in these states, distributors and exhibitors are giving first preference to Leo itself. Coming to Telugu States, Leo is getting substantial no of theatres as it is being released in Telugu by Popular Production House Sithara Entertainment's.
On the other hand, Tiger Nageswara Rao is fighting for theatres in his homeland too. Nandamuri Balakrishna's Bhagavanth Kesari, is also releasing for Dussehra. In Hindi it is competing with Tiger Shroff, Amitabh Bachchan, Kriti Sanon 's Mega Action film Ganapath. So, Tiger Nageswara Rao is facing tough times to procure theatres. But, once it gets a positive talk, definitely the stats will change.
