The film is completing 25th Anniversary on 15th October. Karan Johar decided to re-release the film. He is hosting three special screenings in Mumbai. As per the platform, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai tickets are being sold at a PVR INOX theatre in Mumbai for just Rs 25. The tickets are only Rs 25 on a Sunday night marking the 25th anniversary of Iconic Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was Karan Johar's directorial debut. Many actresses were approached for the role of Tina earlier but they all rejected it because the role was small. Eventually, Rani agreed to play the part and the film proved to be a game-changer for her.
