Kangana talks of mandatory military training.Kangana Ranaut has proposed the idea of mandatory military training for every graduate in India, an idea she believes would help eliminate "lazy" and "irresponsible" individuals from the country. Speaking at the News18 'Amrit Ratna' 2023 event, the 'Manikarnika' actress argued that compulsory military training could instill discipline and a sense of responsibility.
She emphasized that such training would be beneficial for the nation, stating, "We will get rid of these lazy and irresponsible people if military training is made compulsory in the country for every child after graduation. It will inculcate discipline in them."
In addition to discussing military training, Kangana Ranaut also criticized Bollywood stars and cricketers for maintaining friendships with individuals from countries that India considers adversaries. She expressed her concern about the connections between Indian artists and individuals from China and Pakistan. She questioned whether she was the only one who viewed them as enemies and pondered whether the animosity between the two countries was her sole perspective. Kangana Ranaut highlighted how her upcoming film 'Tejas' addresses the emotions of soldiers who are dedicated to their duty while facing criticism and doubt from their fellow countrymen.
In 'Tejas,' Kangana portrays an Air Force pilot on a rescue mission in Pakistan. The film, written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara, is scheduled for release on October 27 and is set to explore themes of patriotism, sacrifice, and the challenges faced by military personnel.
