Nagarjuna Naa SaamiRanga Is A Remake?

On the occasion of Akkineni Nagarjuna's birthday, his new film titled Naa Saamy Ranga has been announced with a glimpse and poster. Both of them hint at a rural massy film in the offering. Nagarjuna also looks perfect in the ruthless role. 

Interesting news about the film has been circulating since morning. The film is said to be a remake of a Malayalam film, Porinju Mariyam Jose starring Joju George, Nyla Usha, and Chemban Vinod. It is a story about three friends Porinju and Mariyam love each other but stay unmarried and remain friends. 

The original has two more lead characters apart from Hero. Now, the question is who is cast in those roles. Rumours indicate that Allari Naresh will be seen in one of those roles and the female lead is yet to be known. 

Choreographer Vijay Binni is turning as director with the film while Prasanna Kumar Bezawada penned the story and dialogues for the film. Srinivasaa Chitturi is bankrolling the project. Naa Saamiranga is slated to release for Sankranthi, in 2024.
