Dil Raju Acquires Salaar For Record Price For Nizam

Pan India Star Prabhas's upcoming film Salaar is releasing in two parts, The first part Salaar Ceasefire will be released worldwide on 28th September. Despite of dull track record of Prabhas where his previous films became disasters at the box office, Salaar is carrying humongous hype. Being an out-and-out mass-action film from Prashanth Neel, the director of KGF 1 & 2 is the main reason behind the buzz.

But, despite having a huge buzz, the Salaar business is still open in many places. It is not due to a lack of buyers but the exorbitant prices quoted by the production house Hombale Films. Knowing the craze of Prabhas, and the confidence they have in the film, they are not willing to lose money by selling at lower prices. So, they are quoting sky-high rates for Salaar. They even are getting ready to release the film on their own on a commission basis.

Popular Producer and distributor Dil Raju sealed a deal with Salaar makers for the Nizam area. It is known that Prabhas is very strong in the Nizam area. His average, flop films also collect decent numbers in this area. Calculating all these, Dil Raju bought Salaar for the Nizam area for a record price of Rs 80 Crores. 

Here's the catch, among the Rs 80 Crores, 65 Crores is done on an NRA basis and 15 Crores is refundable. That means Dil Raju's risk amount is 65 Crs for Salaar. If it fails to collect 80 Cra he will be returned the remaining amount up to 15 Crores from Hombale Films.
