BJP seeks action against MIM corporators

Demanding action against Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) Corporators for their alleged attack on the Hyderabad City Corporation Mayor B Kartika Reddy during a function, the Bharatiya Janata Party activists on Wednesday staged dharna at Khairatabad.

Protesting against the action of corporators on the Mayor, the BJP activists raised slogans against MIM.

It may be recalled that MIM party men accused the Mayor of colluding with communal forces and stormed into her chambers demanding her resignation when she participated in a function organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishat at Gujarati Pragati Samaj Bhavan in Barkatpura along with Praveen Kumar Togadia.

Later, the BJP activists tried to picket Raj Bhavan. However, the police foiled their attempts and took BJP activists into custody.
