Implement SC orders on 'free zone' issue: Chegondi

Senior Congress leader Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah on Wednesday demanded that the state government should implement the Supreme Court judgment on `free zone’ issue in letter and spirit immediately.

Talking to reporters at his residence on the Supreme Court's refusal to review its order declaring Hyderabad a ‘free zone’ for recruitments in government jobs, he said that the government should give posting orders to those who have been transferred from Hyderabad before the court orders.

He said ``the court order clearly states people from all parts of the state would have equal rights in jobs, postings and promotions in Hyderabad.''

If the government does not implement the court orders and gives posting orders to those who had been transferred from Hyderabad earlier, he threatened to file a petition against state government for violating court orders.
