Ponnam threatens to file case against Pawan

Karimngar MP Ponnam Prabhakar has ridiculed the remarks of Jana Sena party president Pawan Kalyan against the Congress party and described them as immature comments.

Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Ponnam alleged that Pawan was making political statements without having any basic knowledge about the subject. He also ridiculed Pawan for praising BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. He also accused the BJP of using Pawan Kalyan to create confusion among the people.

Alleging that Pawan had amassed illegal wealth, Ponnam said that he would lodge a complaint against him after procuring information about his assets and IT returns through an RTI application.

Ponnam accused TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao of being an opportunist. He said that the Congress party too was not interested in having alliance with the TRS if the latter was not keen about it. He said people of Telangana know well that it was AICC President Sonia Gandhi who granted statehood for the region and KCR had played a very little role.

The Karimnagar MP also accused TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu of trying to mislead the Dalits by offering more tickets. He challenged Naidu to announce that the TDP would make a Dalit Chief Minister in Seemandhra region.
