Allu Arjun's Pushpa is going great guns at the box office. Apart from Icon Star Allu Arjun's terrific performance, sizzling beauty Samantha's special song turned out to be the major highlight in the film which got mixed reviews from all quarters. Many wondered how Samantha gave green signal to the song. Some felt that Samantha shouldn't have done the song as it did not power her stardom any where. Akkineni fans are blasting her for the song saying Naga Chaitanya divorced her only for these acts and also for her bold role in Family Man webseries. However, masses are thoroughly enjoying Samantha's son 'oo antava oo oo antava' which hit the controversy button.

In the midst of all this, Sukumar speaking to scribes, revealed 'When I first approached Samantha for the special song, she refused saying the special song is not right for her. But I convinced her saying it will be something different for a star like her and gave the examples how top actresses are doing special songs. I also cited that it will be special like Pooja Hegde's special song in Rangasthalam. I asked her to try the special song. But even then Samantha did not relent. But she finally gave green signal out of respect on me.The song is getting good response in the theatres'
