Two Good Scripts Our Star Heroes Missed

Last few weeks, there is plethora of noise at Indian Box Office. Thanks that decisive players behind this commotion are connected with South Indian film industry. First it was ‘Bahubali’ and next it is ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ both have a go-between in the form of writer Vijayendra Prasad.

According to official reports, Vijayendra Prasad first approached our Telugu hero Allu Arjun followed by Rajinikanth and Shiva Raj Kumar to take up the script of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan.’ When none of them have gathered courage to accept a cross border concept revolving around emotional bondage with a small child, there was a risk foreseen. Unfortunately, our South cinema missed this heart touching script which is now an all time super hit in Bollywood.

Next to ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan,’ one more film which released this Friday is ‘Jilla.’ The magnificent star cast of Vijay and Mohan Lal made this commercial mass masala entertainer a 100 Crore film in Kollywood. Given the right commercial ingredients and tight screenplay, many of the film goers wondered on how our producers, heroes and directors missed ‘Jilla’ remake in Telugu. If at all, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Jilla’ are made in Telugu, we would have been lucky to see two more big blockbusters this year.
