Genelia to appear before Court

Bubbly actress Genelia is served with notices by Andhra Pradesh High Court today on the cheating case filed by Tirupathaiah related to a real estate scam of Anjaniputra Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. Actually Genelia worked as Brand Ambassador for this company which collected nearly Rs.250 Crores from buyers but failed to register the lands on their names.

Tirupathaiah claims that, Police failed to include Genelia and five other director names in FIR. He alleges Genelia of luring customers by projecting a good image of the company and promoted the brand which asserts to cheating. So, court asked Genelia either to attend the Court personally or through her lawyer before April 25 and answer the petition of Tirupathaiah, who paid Rs.54 Lakhs to company for registering a plot and construction of duplex house at Kalvakolu village in Maheswaram Mandal of Ranga Reddy district.
