Scene (2026) Movie: Artists Review
Suriya looked young , energetic and dashing on the screen. He as a police officer showed variations in his expressions and emotions as an unpredictable and eccentric person. He with his mannerisms and comic timing entertains all.
Naslen came up with a chilling performance and his psychological battle with Suriya is good. Nazriya Nazim is good and enacted action sequences with ease. Her chemistry with Suriya is attractive. However she looked older than Suriya.
Lal with his performance evoked a few laughs. Others like Anandraj and Raj Priyan are ok in their roles.
Scene (2026) Movie: Technicians Review
Scene story is penned by Jithu Madhavan of Aavesham fame. He made his Kollywood entry with this film. He starts the narration in an interesting manner before the introduction of Suriya in a typical stylish way as usual.
The first half is full of investigation proceedings, dialogues between three cops and a few hilarious elements in the backdrop of serious tone. However, a couple of scenes and twists looked unconvincing. Still the first half turns out to be a decent watch.
The second half nose dives completely with uninteresting elements and insipid investigation. Except for a few scenes here and there, everything turns lackluster. The climax ends on a disappointing and weak note with no real face off.
Sushin Shyam failed completely with his music. However, he came up with a breezy and groovy background music to elevate the scenes. His innovative background score added a quirky look to the proceedings.
Vineeth Augustin with his Cinematography elevated the tone and tenor of the film's genre. Ajmal Sabu's editing turned out to be a mixed bag. He left many dragging scenes unattended in the second half which resulted in a tedious watch. Production values are adequate.

Scene (2026) Movie: Rating Analysis
Altogether, Scene turns out to be a routine investigative drama. Except for Suriya's performance and few hilarious elements, it offered nothing new. Jithu Madhavan is successful in showing Suriya in a different way but the weak characterizations and surprisingly weak investigation along with the underwhelming climax played the spoilsport. A racy screenplay and powerful characterizations doing with redoing of the script would have added more power. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2.25 rating for Scene.
