Manjummel Boys Witnessing Good Occupancies This Weekend

This summer is one of the most dreaded in terms of movies at the boxoffice. Heat wave, mega success of IPL and Election heat together has made makers to opt out from Summer and even those films announced for release backed out. Meanwhile the films which were released in March last week and April first week are continuing their victory March. Tillu Square has took most of the advantage and turned out to be huge blockbuster with Rs 125 Crore grosser.

Another film that got benefitted from Summer season is Malayalam dubbed film, Manjummel Boys. This film which was released in Telugu during April first week after turning out to be a Industry Hit in Malayalam has fetched good word of mouth in Telugu too. The film has already crossed Rs 10 Crores gross in Telugu version and is still going strong in A centers.

Usually, dubbed movies will not have a long run, except for in rare cases. Particularly, movies with no big stars will hardly run in theatres in the second week. Surprisingly, the survival thriller Manjummel Boys is still doing great at the ticket windows in its third-week run. The film registered more than 10,000 tickets bookings in booking portals in the last 24 hours. 

The movie directed by Chidambaram is raking in good numbers during weekdays. Over 10.29K were booked in the last 24 hours in the ticketing portal BookMyShow, which is a great attainment for a dubbed movie. Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and PrimeShow Entertainments released the Telugu version of the movie which is providing double profits to buyers.
