Mithun Chakraborty discharged from hospital.Actor and politician Mithun Chakraborty was discharged from the hospital on the afternoon of Monday, February 12, following a brief admission to a Kolkata hospital on February 10 due to an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke) of the brain.

Reflecting on his health scare, Chakraborty candidly shared, "I eat like a demon. So I was punished. My advice for everyone is to control your diet. Those who are diabetic should not have the misconception that consuming sweets will not make any difference. Control your diet."

Expressing his commitment to his political responsibilities, Chakraborty emphasized, "Who will look after the 42 Lok Sabha constituencies in West Bengal? I will. I will be actively engaged with the BJP. If asked, I will also go to other states for campaigning. I have great regards for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Time has come for the BJP to reach its peak."

The actor-politician also disclosed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had personally reached out to him on Sunday, February 11. Chakraborty humorously added that he 'got a scolding' from the Prime Minister for not prioritizing his health.
