Kareena Kapoor Jaane Jaan Trailer Review

Kareena Kapoor is making her OTT debut with Jaane Jaan film which is to be streamed on Netflix from 21 September. The film is directed by Kahaani fame Sujoy Ghosh. Talented actors Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma played other key roles in the film. It is being made as a thriller filled with twists and turns. Trailer of the film is released today.

Jaane Jaan Trailer offers a glimpse into the mysterious happenings in the chilly hill town of West Bengal, Kalimpong. Kareena plays the role of Maya D’Souza who is in an abusive relationship. Her neighbour Naren, played by Jaideep, has an idea about it. Vijay essays the role of Karan, a cop, who is investing Maya’s missing husband. They are seem to be involved in a romantic relationship eventually. 

The film is an official adaption of Keigo Higashino’s Japanese novel The Devotion of Suspect X. The trailer promises a great adaption of the book and some powerful performances. The film will release on September 21 on Netflix on the occasion of Kareena's 41st Birthday.

Sujoy Ghosh is known for directing thrillers like Kahaani, Kahaani 2, Badla and Bob Biswas. Kareena is doing Hansal Mehta's film The Buckingham Murders which is set to premier at BFI London Film Festival in October this year.
