When the choreographer made Kriti cry. Kriti Sanon won the national award for her performance in Mimi. However Kriti Sanon shares her journey is not full of roses. She revealed how a choreographer scolded her in front of more than 50 models which left her in tears.
Recollecting the incident, Kriti Sanon shared “My first ramp show, the choreographer, I have never worked with her again, she was very rude to me because I messed up the choreography. It was at some farmhouse and heels were getting stuck into the grass and it was my first time. Terrible. I started crying because she was scolding me in front of 50 models and very rudely. I was holding it for long but I cry the moment someone shouts at me.”
She shared “So, I remember sitting in an auto and the moment I sat, I started crying. I went back home and I cried to my mother. My mother was like, ‘I don’t know if this profession is for you. I don’t. You need to be emotionally way stronger, you need to be a thick-skinned person and you need to be a lot more confident than you are.’ And I think confidence is something that I gained with time.”
Sharing her journey into films, Kriti Sanon added “I just moved to Mumbai and I was going for these GMAT preparation classes while I was trying for movies and doing modelling. I got my first Telugu film (Mahesh Babu’s 1: Nenokkadine) and I also got Heropanti. Heropanti was supposed to start a little later and my second schedule of the Telugu was supposed to start after two months. So, I had two months in the middle and I took the GMAT exam then,”
