Ranbir Kapoor Animal Postponed

Ranbir Kapoor's Animal is one of the most anticipated films of the year. One reason is Animal showcases Ranbir in a rugged and action role which he usually doesn't do. Another reason is it is being directed by Kabir Singh director Sandeep Vanga. The first look poster and teaser added more fuel to the already hype surrounding the film. When everything in motion for its release on 11th August. A sudden announcement came that the film has been postponed and new release date will be announced soon.

This postponement of Animal has disappointed fans and audience. Reason behind makers taking this decision is to avert the three way clash with Akshay Kumar's OMG 2 and Sunny Deol's Gadar 2. 

According to the latest media reports, the makers of RK starrer have decided to avoid the big clash on Aug 11 and move to December.

Buzz is the makers have finalised the release date as December 1. But if the film comes on that date, then it will have a clash yet again and this time with Fukrey 3 and Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’. But, by that time cricket World Cup will be over and it will arrive one week after Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency.

Animal has Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role while Rashmika is seen as female lead. Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol will be seen in other key roles. Sandeep Vanga is directing this intense action flick while T Series is producing it.
