Naga Chaitanya-Chandoo Mondeti project has a whopping budget

Chaitu-Chandoo Mondeti project budget revealed. Naga Chaitanya is teaming with Chandoo Mondeti who created a sensation with his spiritual thriller Karthikeya 2 across the country. Chaitu is trying his best to come out of the flops. His previous films Thank You, Custody bombed at the box office and even his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddda did not go as planned.

Chaitu is pinning all his hopes on this film. It is known that the film has a fisherman backdrop and Chaitu will be seen as a fisherman and will be seen romancing Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Now reports are coming that the film will be made with a huge budget.

A source shares "It will be an extravagant pan-Indian film revolving around a fisherman and his love story set against the backdrop of Gujarat. It will be shot in actual locations like the high seas of Gujarat and sets will be erected to give the movie an authentic backdrop about fisherfolks' life and living conditions," The film will be made with a whopping Rs 150crs budget and is inspired by real-life incidents.

The source adds "It will be one of the costliest films from Geeta Arts after Rajamouli's "Maghadhera’ since they are confident about the script which has pan-India appeal,"
