Tollywood filmmakers are training their guns on pan India films right after the sensation of Rajamouli's Baahubali. They are craving for top notch cinematographic values in their films.
The makers are roping in national and international cinematographers and they are now raving about Tollywood. Hollywood cinematographer Sheldon Chau cranked the camera for Mosagallu while Polish cinematographer Miroslaw Brozek cranked the camera for Gang Leader.
Apart from that, top national cinematographer PC Sreeram, Tirru, Senthil Kumar, and US born cinematographer Shaneil Deo are cranking cameras for high profile projects like RRR, Acharya and Nishabdham.
Senthil Kumar says visuals improved drastically in Telugu films and talented cinematographers are getting good work. He said currently he is busy capturing the pre Independence era scenes in Rajamouli's RRR.
National award winning cinematographer Tirru who worked for Bollywood films like Krissh 3 is now a cranking camera for Chiranjeevi's Acharya directed by Koratala Siva. He says Chiranjeevi can create magic within a moment on screen. He reveals that they have shot in the extravagant township erected with 300 ft roads and an elegant 80 feet temple in 15-20 acres. They will soon shoot in the dense forests to give a western look.
Hemanth Madhukar, director of Anushka's Nishabdham says Shaneil Deo is well versed with technology, unlike other Telugu cinematographers. He revealed that he delivered the movie in anamorphic format.
Hollywood cinematographer Sheldon Chau of Nigerian Prince and Summer Night is cranking the camera for Manchu Vishnu, Kajal, Suneil Shetty's Mosagallu. RVijay Kumar, executive producers revealed how Hollywood director Jeffrey Gee Chin felt Sheldon Chau would be the right fit. He said though he has seen Charminar a hundred times, Sheldon stunned all by capturing it from a new angle. He said Santosh Shivan is the best choreographer in India.
