Why Aha Changed The Track To A?

Mega producer Allu Aravind launched his own OTT platform Aha after realizing that the future lies in OTTs. All the OTT platforms in the market are coming with content in various languages. However, Allu Aravind announced that Aha will have only Telugu content and is only for Telugu viewers.

However, at the start of Aha platform itself, he gave a hint that viewers will get attracted only if they show adult content in some stories.  As such he loaded Aha with adult content.

Right from the first web series to the recent Metro Kathalu, all of them had adult content. With all shows in Aha having adult content, family viewers are unable to get connected to Aha.

Aha would have been successful had they made family viewers glued to the platform. However, criticism is increasing that the content is according to the tastes of the North Indians than South Indians.

Analysts are of the opinion that content in Aha is unable to attract south viewers. Only when Aha comes with content that attracts south viewers, it will be successful. Critics are blasting Aha that after intense backlash for adult content initially, many expected Aha to change the track but they are still running after adult content.
