The success of Baahubali has encouraged many stars and filmmakers to come up with Pan India films. But, only films with Pan India appeal has high chance to succeed at box office across the country. Prabhas’s Saaho was a decent grosser in Hindi belt, but the experiment failed utterly in Telugu states and overseas. Few other films released as Pan south or Pan India have also tasted bitter results.

Currently, many star heroes in Tollywood are coming up with Pan India films. Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, Vijay Deverakonda’s Fighter, Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2 and few other films are being made as Pan India films. Curiously, superstar Mahesh Babu refused Pan India touch to his next film with director Parasuram.

Given all the stars are keen to do multi-lingual films to cash in the craze for Telugu films, makers of Mahesh Babu’s next also came up with proposal of making the film as Pan India one. However, Mahesh Babu said straightaway no to them.

Mahesh Babu, indeed, has bad experience with multi-lingual films. His film Spyder ended up as a disaster and his market in other states is not remarkable. He admitted many times that he is not really keen to make Bollywood debut, at least for now.

Mahesh Babu may think of Pan India film, only if ongoing films of Telugu stars get positive results.
