Jersey Scares For Varun Tej, Deverakonda

Mega Prince Varun Tej is currently on a high scoring hits like F2 and Gaddalakonda Ganesh. He is set to show his power with his upcoming entertainer in which he is turning boxer under the direction of Kiran Korrapati. The film is expected to hit the screens on July 30.

In the meantime, Rowdy Star Vijay Deverakonda who is reeling under a string of flops like World Famous Lover, Dear Comrade, and NOTA, is turning Fighter under the direction of Puri Jagannadh. The film’s shoot is currently underway in Mumbai where the unit is canning scenes on Vijay and Ananya Pandey.

Buzz is Vijay Deverakonda plays boxer in the film. Makers are yet to decide on the film’s release but sources say they may also target July month. Fighter marks Vijay Deverakonda's Bollywood entry. It has to be seen whether Varun Tej and Vijay Devarakonda fight a BO bout.

Nonetheless, if both the films in the same genre hit the screens in the same month, it will have negative effect on the film that releases second.

Earlier, when Majli and Jersey hit the screens in small gap, the Naga Chaitanya starrer that released first had upper hand over Nani’s film that released later.
