Telugu beauty Swathi stole the hearts of all with her cute looks and lovely expressions ever since her programon small screen Colors became super hit. She went on to star in Ashta Chamma, Golkonda High School, Swamy Ra Ra etc.

She made an impression even in Tamil and Malayalam films. Swathi exposed film industry dark secrets saying, “People in the industry criticize each other unlike in other industries. Even those who do not know ABCD writers reviews. Except that everything is colorful."

She added "Once I was hurt with few rumors. During my debut film Danger, many rumors spread that I moved closely with Allari Naresh and they have video proofs for that. At that time I felt ashamed of the industry."

Swathi revealed “In fact I was not interested to enter this field. I appeared for EAMCET and counseling got delayed due to some reason. During that time one known lady informed me about MAATV and asked me to come for a makeup test. I was not interested and that too for a Telugu channel. They asked to do the program until the beginning of the counseling.

I never went to anyone for offers. That's why people get irritated with me. I got popular with Colors easily but later I realized how difficult to maintain the same. I realized the flops difficulties".

On her getting more marriage proposals than love proposals, she said “Boys are becoming clever nowadays. They feel that a girl will give a green signal if they come up with a marriage proposal than a love proposal. They realized that to floor Swathi they should come with a marriage proposal. All marriage proposals came in such a manner.”
