Legendary actor late SV Ranga Rao and then top comedian Rajababu starrer 'Tata Manavadu' stood as an all time big hit of Tollywood on grandfather and grandson concept. The film was released in the year, 1972. The film was directed by legendary director late Dasari Narayana Rao. Comedian Rajababu stepped into the shoes of a hero and did a justice to his role. The film, which was filled with heart touching emotions, ran for 25 weeks and also received Nandi best feature film award.

After a huge gap of 47 years, yet another film on grandfather and grandson concept scored a blockbuster on par with Tata Manavadu status. And the film is none other than Supreme hero Saitej starrer Prati Roju Pandaage. Satyaraj played grandfather role in this full-fledged family entertainer. This film is also loaded with full of touching emotions which are embedded with some hilarious moments as well. 

PRP collected close to Rs.25 crores world wide share so far and stood as the blockbuster given its pre release business and earnings statistics. In Overseas also the film emerged as a double blockbuster with $600K gross collections. The film crossed the break even mark $300K a couple of days ago. 

All in all, Tata Manavadu and Prati Roju Pandaage are ever remembered in the hearts of movie lovers among grandfather and grandson's bond films.
