Why Balakrishna Adamant On Mega Star?

It is known that sometime back Balakrishna along with director Krishna Vamsi planned a film titled Rythu and fans got thrilled when the project was about to be officially announced. But the project was stalled at the last minute much to the disappointment of Balakrishna fans.

Balakrishna and Krishna Vamsi met Bollywood Mega Star Big B Amitabh Bachchan for a ten minute powerful role of President of the country. But for some unknown reasons Amitabh Bachchan did not show interest in the role. Balakrishna who went on record that the film will go to sets only if Amitabh gives consent to the role, as expected shelved the project.

Balakrishna once again revealed that he loved the story of Rythu but since a super star did not adjust his dates, the project was shelved. Everyone knows that Amitabh Bachchan was the super star. Amitabh who rejected Rythu however played an important role in Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa. He participated four to five days of shooting for his role in the film. Even his role in Rythu is small but what surprised all is he did not show interest in allocating four-five days call sheets.

What one should think of Big B Amitabh who did not respond even after knowing that Balakrishna shelved Rythu because he did not give his consent? Why Balakrishna who generally does not care about anyone is adamant on Amitabh who is rigid on Rythu. Why doesn't he complete the film with some top star in South?
