Netizens blame filmmakers for violence in society

Netizens blame filmmakers for violence in society. The shocking incident where a man attacked the 10th class girl in Raptadu, Andhra Pradesh triggered angry reactions from across the country.
People are demanding stringent punishment for the culprits and in the meantime, netizens are attacking filmmakers for the excessive violence in films. They are targeting Sandeep Vanga for the scenes in Animal and also other films like Vijay Devarakonda's Ranabaali, Yash's Toxic, Unni Mukundan's Marco and others.
In the midst of all this, a director says “We cannot directly blame Sandeep Reddy Vanga for such a horrific incident. However, filmmakers need to be careful about the scenes they include in their films. Directors should find alternative ways to establish ways to establish a hero's image rather than making violence look too realistic.”
He says "Blaming cinema alone for crimes would be unfair. There is no confirmed evidence to suggest that the Raptadu attack was influenced by Animal or any other film. The accused person's motives and the circumstances behind the incident need to be investigated."
