Sources say that, Naga Chaitanya deliberately asked for an action entertainer and the first choice as per his father Nagarjuna’s decision is Surender Reddy.

Surender Reddy, the stylish director who delivered super hits like ‘Athanokkade’ and ‘Kick’ is known to have come out with a superb action oriented concept which was liked by Kamkashi Banners Shivaprasad Reddy and of course Nagarjuna too. Genuinely speaking, ‘Athanokkade’ with Nandamuri Kalyanram was a perfect action based movie from Surender Reddy and later he lost his touch with ‘Ashok and Athidi’ only to regain his form with an entertaining ‘Kick.’
