Mega Bad Omen With Patriotic Films

Seems like, Mega heroes have a bad omen with patriotic films. While Sai Dharam Tej’s Jawaan where he played the role of a DRDO officer failed to impress even Mega fans, stylish star Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya that showed the actor as an angry army officer also opened to mixed response. The film directed by Vakkantham Vamsi is expected to end as a flop for buyers who spent bomb.

Coincidentally, both Jawaan director BVS Ravi and Naa Peru Surya director Vakkantham Vamsi were writers before making their debut as directors. While Jawaan is second directorial for Ravi, Vamsi made his directorial debut with NPS.

Earlier, Megastar Chiranjeevi played a soldier in Stalin, Yuddha Bhoomi which were failures. In fact, patriotic films are tough to deal. Directors need to include commercial ingredients aptly to please all the section of audience. Excess of seriousness might be the reason for all the these Mega patriotic films turning commercial flops. Hope, Sye Raa will not fall in the same category.
