VD Konda, Sam Everywhere - Savithri Nowhere!

Mahanati, biopic on legendary actress Savitri will be gracing the theaters in just six days. Recently, audio was launched in style in Hyderabad. 

Akkineni family domination was witnessed at the event, wherein Keerthy Suresh who reprised the role of Mahanati was given least attention both by media and guests too.

Ever since the film unit began promotional campaigns, they are keenly and completely focusing on Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, the journos who narrate Mahanati’s life in their perspective after extensive research.

In fact, both Vijay and Samantha are star faces in Tollywood whereas Keerthy Suresh is still in early days of career with no solid hit to credit in her self account. Truth is, Keerthy can't pull audience or run the trade alone on her shoulders. She isn't a star like Anushka or Samantha.

So, makers of Mahanati are cleverly projecting Vijay and Samantha as lead actors. However, Keerthy Suresh is the prime face for Tamil version since she’s very much familiar there.

Apparently, Keerthy Suresh is expected to participate in Telugu promotions at later hour depending upon the overall talk. Directed by Nag Ashwin, Mahanati also has Dulquer Salmaan and Naga Chaitanya playing crucial roles as Gemini Ganesan and ANR respectively.
