Will Power Star Pawan Kalyan's three consecutive flops affect his political prospects? This is the hot discussion topic among cine and political analysts at the moment. With his fortune, irrespective of flops and hits in film industry, Power Star got extraordinary craze developed in parallel in political arena which may yield fruitful results for him at poll battle.
Even then, Power Star's fans need to give a retort to Pawan's detractors on Pawan Kalyan's three flops. And here is an interesting observation about the flops delivered by late NTR between 1989 and 1994.
NTR's TDP snatched a superb victory from the Congress in 1983. As he was backstabbed by Nadendla Bhaskara Rao, sympathy factors made him winning the election battle in 1985. However, it was due to innumerable administrative blunders by the TDP government, the party had to lose the general elections, 1989.
Thereupon NTR found some time enough to comeback to Tollywood with three mythological films and a patriotic film. NTR's Major Chandrakanth was a multi-starrer film which had Mohan Babu as another protagonist and he bankrolled the project too. The movie scored a super hit.
However, NTR's much publicized Brahmarshi Viswamithra, Samrat Ashoka and Srinadha Kavi Sarvabhowma failed miserably at the box office. Although disaster film Srinadha Kavi Sarvabhowma released in 1993 and was bombed at box office, TDP got tremendous victory in 1994's general elections which proved the fact that series of flops hadn't affected TDP's victory in the elections.
Altogether, once the Jansena cheif enters the public, his strength can be elevated. Interim, he may work for another film.
