Can Nagarjuna Bear This Pressure?

Devotional films with protagonist ad an ardent devotee to almighty, there is no alternative for Telugu cinema industry other than hero Nagarjuna and director K Raghavendra Rao. After re-approving their potential with each movie all the way from ‘Annamayya’ to ‘Shirdi Sai,’ they both assume that there are many more devotional subjects to capitalize on and one more such film following the suite is ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya.’

Based on the true life of Hathiram Baba, this film is all set for a grand release on February 10th amidst a huge competition from Nani’s ‘Nenu Local’ already throwing its Box Office arms swiftly and Suriya’s ‘Singham 3’ ready to roar in Telugu and Tamil states. 

Nag, Anushka, Pragya Jaiswal, Keeravani and KRR are the superlative advantages in attracting public for ONV but at the same time ‘Hathiram Baba’ and his story not being as popular as ‘Annamayya’ or ‘Sri Ramadasu’ can serve a huge setback in connecting with audience. On other side, a massive ‘Singham 3’ in popular action genre can also dent ONV to an extent. We need to wait for few more days to know how good ONV can beat the heat of Nani and ‘Singham 3’ jointly.
