Katamarayudu Competes Khaidi Pre Biz

Making 'Khaidi Number 150' an astounding hit, Telugu people across the globe are now eagerly awaiting the next big film of Tollywood, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Katamarayudu'. Till some days ago, the film appeared to be a dark horse in the race, as it didn't have combination craze. 

However, going by the pre biz offers of the film, it is understood that Pawan Kalyan's name is enough to weave a magic among the trade circles. We are hearing the reports that the film's theatricals have been sold out to Rs.6 crores in Guntur area. Earlier, 'Khaidi Number 150's rights were sold out to Rs.6.40 crores. In West Godavari 'Katamarayudu's rights were sold out to Rs.4.60 crores while 'Khaidi's rights fetched Rs.4.75 crores here. However, 'Katamarayudu' surpassed 'Khaidi in East Godavari with its rights being sold out to Rs.5.86 crores. Earlier 'Khaidi' was sold out to Rs.5.60 crores in the territory. 

Katamarayudu's release date was tentatively locked to March 29 and the rumours are rife that the release date may get advanced. Shruti Haasan is the main heroine of this action, romantic and family entertainer. Anoop Rubens has scored the tunes of the film. The movie was directed by Dolly on Northstar Entertainment.
