Mega fans have been disappointed a little this year as just three movies of Mega Heroes have been released in a span of eight months from January to August. Moreover, both 'Gopala Gopala' and 'S/o Satyamurthy' have targeted classes rather than masses. Even then, both the movies have been succeeded to join Rs. 40 crores and Rs.50 crores club respectively. Sai Dharam's 'Rey' was released, finally, after innumerable postponements.
However, mega fans will definitely have last laugh with a good number of mega movies coupled for release from September to next summer. Especially, all key slots appeared to have been booked by the makers of mega movies.
As we already reported earlier, four mega movies are slated for release in a span of just six weeks and they are 'Rudhramadevi', 'Subrahmanyam for Sale', 'Kanche' and 'Bruce Lee'( tentative title). Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Sardaar' has been confirmed for release for Sankranthi season. On the other side, Stylish Star Allu Arjun's untitled film in the combo of Boyapati Srinu is gearing up for release either in the month of January or in March. If everything goes well, Megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th movie will also be released for summer. All in all, mega fans appear to be counting the collections of mega movies instead of worrying about fake collections of a few other movies.
