Highlights of Srimanthudu Audio Launch

Prince Mahesh' 'Srimanthudu's audio launch event was held on Saturday, July 18 at Shilpakala Vedika of Hyderabad. Given below are the highlights and sidelights of the audio launch. 

HIGHLIGHTS: 

* The function was attended by a galaxy of stars and other celebs who include Superstar Krishna, Vijayanirmala,  Victory Venkatesh, VV Vinayak, Srinu Vaitla, Srikanth Addala, Galla Jayadev, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Namratha, Gautham and others.

* Suma and Pradeep did the job of anchoring. 

* On account of successful completion of 50 years in industry as a hero, Krishna was felicitated. Venkatesh garlanded him while Ganta Srinivasa Rao wrapped shawl to Krishna. Namratha garlanded to Vijayanirmala. Addressing to the gathering Vijayanirmala hoped the movie would run 100 days. Krishna thanked for being admired for the past 50 years by the fans. He wished the movie would become a big hit at the box office. 

* Songs were launched by celebrities such as Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Galla Jayadev, Srinu Vaitla, Srikanth Addala, Sudheer Babu and some more celebs. All of them wished team 'Srimanthudu' all the best. 

* Jagapathi Babu said the movie had huge star cast and it was like a multi-starrer film. He praised Mahesh as 'Andhrula Andagadu'.  He revealed he would be seen as Mahesh' dad in the film.

* Devi Sri Prasad gave live performane. 

* VV Vinayak launched theatrical trailer of the movie. He hoped he would do a movie with Mahesh with an investment of Rs.100 crores. 

* Director Koratala Siva thanked everyone who had associated with the movie.

* Venkatesh hoped the movie would break the collection records.

* Mahesh wished 'Srimanthudu' would become his birthday gift. He apologized fans for his recent failures. He revealed 'Jaago jaago' stands one of the best songs in his career. 

SIDELIGHTS:

* During 'Aagadu' movie's launch, there were complaints against poor sound system of the audio event. This time ACs were not properly worked and Suma complained organizers many times on this issue. 

* Mahesh as usually looked handsome while Shruthi Haasan appeared gorgeous in revealing attires. 

* Devi Sri Prasad's lengthy live performance on stage offered boredom to the fans. His songs appeared average. However, 'Jathakalise's composition and picturization of montage song were good. 

* Mahesh was modest and cool in his speech and had not boasted about the movie with the words of exaggeration. 

* Theatrical trailer was okay, but resembled 'Atharintiki Daredi' to some extent.
