Actor-turned-politician Vijay's upcoming film, "GOAT," directed by Venkat Prabhu, is currently filming in Puducherry. The production has brought a surge of excitement, along with a dose of panic, to the Union Territory.

Intense action sequences, including a dramatic vehicle explosion scene utilizing gas canisters, are being shot on public roads, causing temporary disruptions and creating an unexpected spectacle. Other explosive scenes are taking place at various locations, including Beach Road and the Old Port, even extending into the night.

While the production team assured the public of necessary safety measures, the unexpected explosions caused a brief moment of panic among unaware bystanders who were stopped during filming.

"GOAT," which has also been filmed in parts of Russia, features Vijay in a double role as both hero and villain. The star-studded ensemble cast includes Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Laila, Mohan, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raj, who will align themselves with either the hero or the villain.

The film is set to release on September 5, 2024. "GOAT," with its high-octane action sequences and intriguing dual role for Vijay, promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience for fans.
