Mythological Epic Ramayanam has been made into films, tv series, stage plays for innumerable times. Still, if someone is making Ramayan as a film, people show interest on it. That's how the epic gets imbibed in Indian people. You can't find a village without Ram's Temple in India. Such was the devotion people have on Lord Ram.

This sentiment is the investment for filmmakers. After recently Adipurush which was tried to explore Ramayan in a new dimension bit the dust for its poor presentation of core essence of Ramayan. Whatever gimmicks you play, how much money you spent, you must make Ramayan in its purest form effectively presenting the essence of Ramayan.

Maany are saying Sai Pallavi is apt for that role.

Latest news is the Ramayana will be made in three parts, where the first part is about Rama and Sita while the second part deals with Ravanasura abducting Sita and Ram fights Ravana and the final part if a about Ram and Sita's seperation, their Kuda Lav- Kusa and their emotional journey. Nitesh Tiwary of Dangal fame is directing this Epic.
