Allu Arjun To Lock Horns With Kamal Haasan

Allu Arjun's much awaited Pushpa 2 has announced its release date as August 15, 2024 for Independence Day. Makers have officially locked the date along with a poster. Pushpa 2 has been red hot in trade as Pushpa became huge success across all languages for its raw and rustic narration aided by Allu Arjun's National Award Winning performance as Pupa Raj.

On the other hand, Kamal Haasan, Shankar's long pending project Indian 2 is also eyeing the same Independence Day for its release. The film, which was earlier planned to be released at the end of August 2024, to prepone by a few weeks to cash in on the patriotic fervour of the audience.

The film has been in the making for a long time, facing several delays and hurdles due to various reasons. The shooting was halted in February 2020 due to a crane accident on the sets that killed three crew members and injured several others. The pandemic also affected the production, forcing the makers to postpone the release date multiple times. 

Now, with Pushpa makers annouced it's release date as 15th August. A big clash will happen at the boxoffice as both the films are aiming at a pan India release. While Pushpa 2 has an edge considering the success of Pushpa 1, but we can't underestimate Shankar and that too this time he is coming with Kamal Haasan who is on fire after the blockbuster success of Vikram.
