Finally Chief Minister K Rosaiah has decided to move into the CM’s camp office in Begumpet on March 22. This was officially announced on Friday. According to the sources Rosaiah, who until now been functioning from his residence in Sanjeevareddy Nagar will shift to the camp office at 8.46 a.m on March 22. The camp office is the official residence of the chief minister. The late YS Rajashekar Reddy governed the state from the camp office till his death.
Chief Minister K Rosaiah is slowly but surely firming his grip over the administration. He is now here to stay and play a long innings if the signals emanating from Delhi are read carefully.
YS Jaganmohan Reddy, son of Y S Rajasekhar Reddy vacated the camp office last December and the officials are now attending to some minor repairs to set the things for Rosaiah to enter.
With CM deciding to move into the camp office , the security at the CM’s camp office at Begumpet has been stepped up.
About 30 policemen _ at least 20 from the Andhra Pradesh Special Police, two from the City Security Wing (CSW), four from various police stations in West Zone and the remaining from the Intelligence Security Wing (ISW) _ are now posted in and around the premises.
Besides, a door-frame metal detector from CSW and other security gadgets provided by the ISW are in place. There are several electronic gadgets installed inside the rooms.
