Gali hits out at Speaker for frequent adjournments

Senior leader of Telugu Desam Party Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu on Saturday criticized Assembly Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy for adjourning the House frequently on small issues.

Speaking to the reporters here  he said  ``there is no point  in adjourning the House frequently, all this is  a  sheer waste of public money and time. Instead of taking up healthy discussion on public issues, the government has wasted two-and-half-hours precious time  discussing the absence of  Chief Minister. Teh  CM left the Assembly abruptlly showing  scant  respect to the  House , speaker  and the Opposition.

``If adjournaments  spree continues  like this  I wonder  when the  legislators  will find  time to discuss  the public  issues,'' the  Tdp leader lamented.
