It'll be a formal meeting, says Duggal

In view of the Srikrishna Panel’s  visit to Hyderabad on Thursday, member-secretary Vinod K Duggal said the panel will have formal introductory meeting. There is an enormous response to the panel and it is a positive sign, he added.

Commenting on BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya’s suggestion that the panel should visit  Telangana, the former Government official said ``there is nothing wrong with Dattatreya’s statement . He has expressed his own views.’’

``This visit is purely an introductory one. The Committee will travel to Hyderabad and discuss with the state government officials the facilities we need and other things,” the panel’s member-secretary Duggal told reporters.

The panel is also not averse to visiting all the three regions of the state, if needed, the former Union Home secretary observed.
